Jade and Billy
Jade and Billy have recently arrived in the Charity’s care, Jade and Billy are in their “golden’ years, being 12 and 13. The Charity have placed them in a foster home in Dorset, where all their needs can be meet. Billy has very stiff back legs due to his age so the Charity is helping him feel more comfortable and walk easier through the guidance of their Vet. Unfortunately, Jade has now gone over Rainbow Bridge.
Kimmie came into the Charity’s care at the beginning of 2017 from a pound where she had been for a few months due to failed health of her previous owner. Kimmie has been attacked many times as seen by the scarring on her head and body. She of course is now very dog reactive, with this is in mind the Charity under took the challenge of finding her a suitable home where she would be the only dog. Her wonderful foster mum Jo, saw our plea and came to the rescue and Volunteered. Jo has many years experience with rescue dogs and fostering so she was ideal for Kimmie.
Kimmie is receiving on going dog behaviourist help with her reactions whilst out on a lead, plus also her Separation Anxiety when she is left for short times in the house. She will be spayed in July as it was unknown at the time when she came into the Charity’s care whether this had been spayed. Due to her reliance on her foster Mum as they have become inseperable the Charity has placed her with Jo in long term foster.
